Comfort at the Sea Looking for a large, comfortable campsite close to Venice? You’ve found it! Portofelice Camping Village is much more than a campsite. Everything in this holiday village is geared towards a successful family holiday. Accommodation and pitches are surrounded by greenery and there is a beautiful swimming complex. Moreover, the campsite is close to the sea; the beautiful beach of the Adriatic is easily accessible on foot.   Romping around in the pool Portofelice Camping Village is well maintained and has many facilities. There is also a shop with souvenirs and beach gear. There is also a good campsite restaurant. You can play all kinds of sports on the large sports field. In the summer months, there is even daily football training for young people. Almost every day there is an extensive programme for young and old with mini club, games, music and all kinds of performances. These can be banging shows, but by half past eleven in the evening it is sure to be quiet again on the site. Portofelice Camping Village has its own amusement park for children – Happy World Park. Can you already see them running back and forth between the giant inflatable slide, trampolines, mini-kart track, mini golf and the Portofelice Express.   Private beach on the Adriatic You probably won’t stay at the campsite all day. A short five to ten minute walk through the pine forest and you are on the campsite’s private beach on the Adriatic. Here, too, you will find sunbeds under yellow parasols. Of course, you can also lay your towel in the sand. The beach slopes very slowly and the calm, warm sea water is suitable for the whole family. Get a drink at the beach bar.   A boat trip to Saint Mark’s Square Portofelice Camping Village is located in a flat polder landscape. This is a great place for cycling. A 12 km trip to the east takes you to Caorle, a picturesque fishing village also known as Little Venice. Of course, the real Venice is not to be missed either. For that, drive 35 km west to Punta Sabbioni. A ferry will then take you to St Mark’s Square in the city centre in half an hour.
