Our paradise gardens in Apulia by the sea
A very special adventure with a heavenly view awaits you here! In harmony with nature, we have been creating our new centre of life and creativity in a magical place for the past three years. We, Therés (illustrator, designer) and Gioacchino (engineer, developer of sustainable concepts), are designing and renaturing two plots of land on a cliff above a bay with breathtaking views in Apulia, Salento. We are in the process of awakening this place, structuring it, rebuilding it, healing plants and soil, reforesting with regional, drought-resistant plants, creating an edible forest garden in the spirit of permaculture, and creating space for ourselves, botany, creativity and simply BEING in this enchanting place. Our personal standards of beauty, design, high-quality natural materials and enjoyment are always at the forefront. We live as sustainably as possible here, 100% organic, mostly vegan. We live here with our two cats and our beloved farm dog.
WHAT WE OFFER YOU:
Parking space:
– for one car/small van (NO large motorhomes!!!) under a large pine tree
Bell tent:
– A comfortable, furnished bell tent with a comfortable bed, bed linen, carpets and seating, diameter and height 3 metres, equipped for one person
Camping:
– We can provide a small tent for 1 person (approx. 210 x 130 cm)
– Space for camping with your own tent
Facilities:
– An Etruscan outdoor bathroom (i.e. a dry toilet for number twos – with a mixture of ash and wood shavings to cover it = works very well!)
– A garden shower with cold or warm water depending on the weather and a magnificent view of the bay awaits you.
– Water from our deep well and osmosis-filtered water for drinking and cooking
– Power supply (for charging mobile phones, etc.) via a small solar system in the guest garden
– For small purchases, you can walk down the hill in 10 minutes to the small village on the beach. There is a small grocery store, a bakery, a vegetable stand, bars and restaurants (most of which are seasonal, from around May to September/October).
– The nearest small towns are about 7-8 km away – for example, Nardò or Gallipoli.
– The sea and beach are within walking distance (approx. 10 minutes), as are the nearest small seaside towns (approx. 20 minutes).
In autumn, winter and spring, you can expect silence, storms, waves, sun, rain… natural spectacles and completely empty beaches where you can swim all year round.
In summer, there is music in the air, often all night long, often loud, shimmering heat, very lively beach life and the clear, turquoise, warm sea.
It is not possible to bring your own pets.

– We look forward to welcoming friendly, open-minded, curious people who would like to share our enthusiasm for nature, the sea and the revitalisation of this piece of land for a few days or weeks.
– Long-term stays are also possible through Holiday4help, i.e. by helping out in our gardens.
