Description

Cast your line! At Camping les Pêcheurs, the name says it all: this campsite is a great place to go fishing. But guests will also find numerous other opportunities for activities on and by the water, such as sunbathing on the shore or kayaking on the river. The campsite is located directly on the River Ain and in the heart of the enchanting Jura countryside. A true paradise for those seeking peace and quiet and nature lovers! Water activities for all tastes Fans of water will feel right at home at Camping les Pêcheurs, as there is plenty of water in the surrounding area. The River Ain is perfect for splashing around or swimming. Or cast out your fishing rod. Looking for a bigger challenge? Hire a kayak at the campsite to explore the area from the water. Several lakes await you a little further afield. The Lac de Vouglans is a reservoir in the River Ain that offers numerous water sports opportunities, and the Lac de Clairvaux-les-Lacs is perfect for a visit with the whole family. The water here remains shallow for quite a long time. A hike along the Hérisson waterfalls is also great fun. Don't forget your hiking boots and picnic basket! Camping without unnecessary frills The campsite is barely recognizable from the road, as it doesn't have any large facilities or excessive luxury. Instead, the campsite presents itself as a quiet, green area. The covered swimming pool promises cooling off and water fun, and from your pitch you can walk directly to the river with a sunbathing area on the banks. The campsite offers entertainment on the multi-sports field, the boules court or the table tennis table, and the children can have fun in the playground and on the two large bouncy castles. In high season, you can also order bread at the campsite and do your daily shopping in the village 200 m away. There is a large supermarket in Clairvaux-les-Lacs, about 5 kilometers from the campsite. Pure mountain air Camping les Pêcheurs is located in the Jura, named after the mountain range of the same name. This mountain range forms the border with Switzerland. The mountains are not very high, but they are full of magnificent forests, lakes, stalactite caves, gorges and waterfalls. A paradise for nature lovers with countless opportunities for adventurous excursions and tours. A short walk, a brisk bike ride or a day trip by car: an exciting daily program always awaits you here.
