„Feather and Fern“ is our wonderful place at the foot of the Alps surrounded by forests, streams, mountains and vastness. We bought our mountain pasture between the Valle Sacra and Valchiusella four years ago and awoke it from an almost 40-year slumber. Bit by bit, we have made room after room habitable and reclaimed the land. Last year, we opened our doors to people whose hearts and souls were calling for this very place. A place of silence, of connection with nature, of connection with oneself, a place of simple living and honest contact with the inhabitants. Would you like to live simply and close to nature for a while? Breathe clear mountain air and drink fresh, living spring water? Go on mountain hikes from your doorstep? Bathe in the moonlight? Listen to the murmur of the nearby stream and the call of the cuckoo and perhaps finally hear your own voice again? Hiking or mountain biking on single trails, trail parks and ramps? Feather and Fern offers 6 different types of accommodation: yurt, tiny house, apartment, room, retreat site and camper site. In the center is the main house, where you will also find the shared outdoor hot shower and a bathroom. There is electricity and fresh mountain spring water at or in the accommodation. The outdoor shower consists of glazed doors and offers a picturesque view of the valley. However, it does not have the privacy that some people may be used to. We live on site and are available for contact. We also offer our guests – breakfast – dinner For the perfect relaxation and recreation there is the possibility on site for: – Full body massage ceremony (~2.5h) – yoga – Contact with horses, horseback riding These offers are not included in the price and can be booked on site. We ask our guests to treat the tranquillity and nature with respect and to refrain from using drugs on our premises.
