And the wonderfully clear water is great not only for diving and swimming laps but is ideal for snorkelling as well. And there is plenty to explore under water. A warm dip Camping Porton Nature Hideout lies only 200 metres from the Adriatic Sea. All you have to do is cross the street. This means that a refreshing dip is always nearby – not a luxury at times with the hot Croatian sun. Because the sun is high in the heavens so often, the water here warms up quickly. This means that the temperature of the water is very pleasant during the summer months. Cocktail with a view There is yet another reason to go to the beach during your holiday. You can wander through the picturesque streets for hours on end, enjoying a bite to eat and a drink at one of the outdoor cafes. The cities of Poreč (35 km) and Pula (50 km) are definitely worth a day trip. Both cities allow you to become immersed in the ancient Roman culture, with many structures from that time still to be found.
