This four-star campsite is located in a wooded area north of the historic city of Montpellier in the village of Clapiers. Swimming fun in the water park The eye-catcher at Camping Sandaya Le Plein Air des Chênes is the sensational 1,200 m² water park with entertainment for all ages, including teenagers. The water park has several pools, including one for lane swimming, a paddling pool, massage jets, beautiful slides and sun loungers around the water. National sport: pétanque The entertainment team is constantly working to keep everyone happy. From the mini club to the sports events, from aquagym to the fun treasure hunts. On the various sports fields, you can play all kinds of sports throughout the day, from mini golf to soccer, from tennis to handball. Under the canopy of the oak forest there is a cozy pétanque court, the national sport of the locals. Of course there is also a nice playground. What are you waiting for? As already mentioned, the beautiful sandy beaches of Languedoc-Roussillon are only 20 minutes away. Pérols, Grau-du-Roi, Palavas-les-Flots, Sète, Cap d'Agde and la Grande-Motte - you're spoiled for choice. Camping Le Plein Air des Chênes is an excellent base for exploring the area. Immerse yourself in Roman times with amphitheatres (Nîmes!), aqueducts (Pont du Gard!) and historic Arles (Vincent van Gogh!). Don't forget Montpellier with its attractive historic center with pedestrian zone and the famous Place de la Comédie. Or take a trip by car to the various nature reserves of the Hérault, the Camargue and the wine regions. Drive to medieval gems such as Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert or Aigues-Mortes.
