**Finca Las Peñascas** is an idyllic place of about 4 hectares, located between the charming village of Fuenteheridos (500 meters) and the N433, in the middle of the beautiful natural park **Sierra de Aracena y Picos de Aroche** . This protected nature reserve is known for its incomparable beauty, both in nature and for the many picturesque white villages hidden within it. The area offers numerous hiking trails that take you through forests of cork and holm oaks, olive groves and chestnut woods. The hilly landscape, rich in water sources and small rivers, provides the perfect backdrop for hikers and nature lovers. With our location at 700 meters above sea level, you can enjoy warm summer days but always pleasantly cool nights. In the fall, you can find wild mushrooms, hazelnuts and chestnuts in the forests around the finca. In spring, nature comes to life with an abundance of wild medicinal flowers and herbs. Our finca itself has a vegetable garden and an orchard, which we are happy to share with our guests. The finca is surrounded by a variety of flora and fauna. You will regularly see foxes, wild boar, deer and an impressive variety of birds including orioles, hoopoes, bee-eaters and majestic birds of prey such as eagles. In addition to our own modest irrigated swimming pool, in July and August you can use the large municipal swimming pool in Fuenteheridos, which is accessible via a quiet dirt road just 500 meters away. You will also find wonderful swimming spots in the surrounding villages. There is always something going on in the region: from religious and summer festivals to concerts and other cultural events. **Finca Las Peñascas** offers an ideal base for a relaxing stay in the countryside, with a touch of local culture and tradition.
